Even after completing university, many young people are finding the job market highly competitive, with limited opportunities that align with their education and aspirations. Mental health challenges among children and adolescents are also becoming more common, influenced by social pressures, and reduced face-to-face connections in an increasingly digital world. This has left many young adults questioning their next steps and seeking direction.
Amid these realities, one question remains urgent: How can FEBC continue to faithfully guide and inspire the next generation in their faith?
Across China, churches and faith communities have been exploring ways to reach this generation and help young believers remain connected. One such effort is FEBC Chinese-language program “Youth Buddies” produced by the LiangYou team, created to speak directly into the struggles young listeners face today. Aired twice a week, the program offers practical guidance and encouragement through faith-based conversations. Through honest discussions on identity, relationships, emotional well-being, and faith, the hosts of “Youth Buddies” remind listeners that their worth is not defined by grades, jobs, or success, but by God’s unconditional love.
